I’m Susan, a Jungian life coach and archetypal astrologer with over four decades of experience in guiding others toward deeper self-understanding and transformation.
My journey with astrology began 43 years ago when I met and encountered the groundbreaking work of Dane Rudhyar. Rudhyar deeply influenced my path, weaving the wisdom of Carl Jung into astrology — integrating the Self, the process of individuation, and the archetypal patterns that live within each of us. Carl Jung himself cast natal charts for his clients, recognizing the deep symbolic language that astrology offers the psyche.
In 2023, I enrolled in the Jungian Life Coaching certification program through JungPlatform.com, based in Amsterdam and taught by co-founder Akke-Jeanne Klerk. I completed the program in September 2024, further deepening my commitment to inner work, symbolic exploration, and the transformative power of archetypes.
For over 42 years, I have offered astrological coaching under the name Transformative Visions. I chose that name because astrology opens us to a broader, more spacious perspective — one that helps us see ourselves and our stories in a new light. From this expanded view, creative choices emerge. Old patterns soften. Healing and transformation become possible.
My Jungian life coaching builds on this foundation. It invites us to meet the archetypes that guide, challenge, and sometimes obstruct us. When we bring these energies into conscious relationship, we free up vitality. We reclaim the potential hidden within shadow and symbol — and begin to engage life in more authentic and fulfilling ways.
In addition to my work in astrology and coaching, I hold a B.A. in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I’ve taught painting classes for 18 years, helping people express inner experience through color and form. I’m also certified in SoulCollage® facilitator and have taught classes on the Tarot and Kabbalistic Tree of Life — a luminous symbolic map of the psyche and cosmos.
I bring all of this to my work with clients: a love of symbol, a trust in the creative process, and a deep belief in the wisdom of the Self.
